Thanks Grant for the link, had a nice time reading the thread and of course something about outages / disasters in South Africa. We don't have lots of natural disasters, but that's not the point. When planning DR/HA, the worst case has to be considered and that seems to be something that the OP in that thread doesn't realise.
With a db 10% the size of the log file, I can see why they laughed at you. They certainly have things well under control.
I read about the Cape Town babboons this morning, getting into cars and homes. Doesn't sound like much fun.

Stuffing myself with pizza after skiing. Likely gone until Monday, so everyone enjoy (and behave) themselves.
Okay, Steve will be gone, now we can do whatever we want.

Happy normal working week. 😀I'll hold down the fort while all the US people are off stuffing themselves with turkey and whatever else appears on a thanksgiving table.
More apple pie, cranberry sauce, beer, wine, more turkey, more beer...
Nap time, and I'm blaming the turkey.

Is OK. Potential business there in picking up the pieces when the disaster that can't happen does.

Right, adding an item or two to the checklist today
- Disable Jack's account
- Disable Jason's account
Likely I will not read this thread when I return. If today is any indication of what Friday might bring, likely to be 500 posts behind by Mon.

That's a great way to look at it. Likely they would need someone with a bit more experience to get up and running again.

That was right, not a big riddle. When compared to forum questions from a newbie asking for a query help without any clue whatsoever.
