Are the posted questions getting worse?

Got both emails, Lynn. Thanks for taking the time and trouble.

I'm doing well, and hope the same goes for you.

Doing well, and it really was no trouble at all. Didn't mind reviewing things and letting you know what I thought. I'm willing to do that any time.

I wonder why you call "football" a sport where the ball can't be touched with feet...

If you have to ball, we knock you off your feet! :hehe:

Actually, soccer season has just started! Yea!! My crew actually was applauded last night as we walked of the pitch after a high school game. Parents thanked us as we left the stadium and told us we did a good job. Haven't had that before.

Obviously those were heathens and communists. It's Bronco time!

All for the Broncos! Lifetime fan! And that's what Sundays, Monday Night, and Thursday nights are for, football. Also becoming season ticket holders for Air Force Hockey. They have a game tonight against the Avs. Looking forward to that game!

  • If there's anybody around loosing his/her faith in the existence of the "Perfect OP":

    I guess I found her: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/FindPost789155.aspx

    - Good description of the problem

    - Ready to use data

    - expected result set

    - What she tried before posting

-> or simple: just everything we permanently ask for.

    And even more:

She CONTINUED to work on the problem AFTER she started the thread and even posted a solution that worked for her.

There's only one thing I'm not happy with:

I'm not sure if there isn't an easier solution than the one I came up with.

Maybe some of you could have a glance at it...

I can definitely be quite sensitive to tone - but that guy is another level. I do think people take forums *way* too seriously sometimes though - there are people starving in africa, people who are persecuted day in day out in too many parts of the world to even list. I think it's quite easy to lose perspective. But then it is in real life too. Let's just count ourselves lucky we're in a position to post at all 🙂

let me add one little bit to Matt's comment and that is

we're in a position to post at all

and to read them and benefit from them without censorship or other restrictions on our freedoms.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Thankfully silverfox is unique, you dont want to know what my other long serving login on other forums was. 😛

    WOW....

I have actually found someone who upsets more people than me *joking*.

although I do take exception to two of his quotes

Hilarious. The evident and consistent spirit of the forum thus far, is already estanblished, evidenced: junkyard dogs.

I would take that as a compliment.

    and finally

Find another fox to tear up.

Leave the soft, fluffy and adorable foxes alone 😛
