Oh, yeah, before I forget, apologies to all those members that support the Wallabies and the All Blacks for the Springboks winning the Tri Nations with just one blemish on the way to victory. Brisbane, your stadium is just too much of a challenge to the Bokke. For the time being that is 😀
Congrats to the Springboks.

-- I feel like I have a groupie! Has anyone else ever had someone that just would PM you about various SQL stuff? I gotta tell you it is a little freaky even if this is just a forum.
I've also had several unsolicted emails in the past two or three days.
They get a standard response, which doesn't waste words, and which is rarely misunderstood 😎

Don't worry, Barry, I'm frequently lost on this one as well.

Lynn, I get emails and PMs regularly asking for help. I just point them to the forum.

It looks like I found one:

I hope you someday learn enough to be embarassed if you reread your posts.
Bob, looks like you found a new friend! 😛
It's not a nice thing to say, I hope he's staying away from me.

Not that simple. He isn't asking for help, he's just sharing things. One was a link to a post where I then had to let him know his recommendation to the OP really didn't solve the OP'd problem.
Not sure why, but it just seems freaky to me.

It must be those cute little green ears, Lynn 😀
For the benefit of posterity, I will guess that I am "Chernobyl" because my current avatar is a fiery red biohazard symbol, simply seething with radiation.
I'm going to change it now.

Got to be something. I'm just glad the individual lives outside the US, half way around the world, or I'd really be worried. 😉
So, how are you doing today? Did you also see my second email?
September 16, 2009 at 9:19 am
Got both emails, Lynn. Thanks for taking the time and trouble.
I'm doing well, and hope the same goes for you.

As an Australian who lives in Sydney, let me just say - WIERDO! [Tongue]
Hmph... you probably are a fan of the hated Carlton Blues.

It's Sept. I think soccer talk is officially over now that football, real football, is here.

I wonder why you call "football" a sport where the ball can't be touched with feet...

lol, it is a handball game with helmets and body armor.
This is not a contact sport, I call this a collision sport although with those new rules that are enforced this year won't be a collsiosion sport that much anymore.
love this sport, it is fun to watch it, much better than a soccer 🙂

Actually, soccer season has just started! Yea!! My crew actually was applauded last night as we walked of the pitch after a high school game. Parents thanked us as we left the stadium and told us we did a good job. Haven't had that before.
