I should probably change that now that I've had some fun, but I'll leave it for a little longer so these posts make sense 😀

Yes, but if you use FF you'd know because at least in 3.5 it doesn't display that image when the image is missing.

I try to work 3 or 4 tournaments a year. Depending on the tournament, that can be anywhere from 2 days to 7 days long. The PPI, the tournament running this week, is a 7 day tournament. The others are usually just 2 or 3 days.My regular season with AYSO (I'm the Regional Referee Administrator for our local region) consists of 2 9 week seasons, Fall and Spring. I can usually do 4 games every Saturday during those seasons. At the tournament, except this year at the PPI, I can do anywhere from 3 to 6 games in a day depending on the age group assigned.
Color me jealous. I haven't done that for years, but enjoyed it more than playing. Probably a power thing :hehe:

And that doesn't include the High School games. You can add about another 20 (approximately) between the Boys and Girls seasons each year.

So, what's stopping you from getting back out there? I'm sure that you could be used and abused just like the rest of us. It seems we are always looking for more referees.

When SSC was having issues with Avatars, I was not seeing anything in that place.

Nothing really, just haven't done it. Working full-time and trying to go to school on the side. So I selfishly spend every free moment I have hanging out with my wife and pets. 🙂 I have a list of "I'd like to" things that I just don't seem to want to make time for.

My wife won't get involved in officiating soccer. She is a Soccer Mom and will go to the games to watch our kids play, but that's it.
I have have worked with a couple of husband and wife teams on a few games. have you considered seeing if your wife would be interested in sharing you love of soccer as a referee?

Does anyone else get the feeling that some people think we are here to not only help and mentor others but to actually do their work for them with no compensation?? I mean, this and this from our PhD candidate just really make me wonder. Where does he even show us what he has tried to accomplish the task at hand? I'd willing help if I saw that he was really trying to solve his problem himself and was just seeking guidance and support, but I think he wants us to do to the work for him.

Nope, not at all.
Some people want to be spoon-fed and not have to (horror) actually think for themselves...
