Maybe if you just post the link to the article about how to effectively post the OP will eventually get it. Maybe a bit like Tennis for while but it might be fun. 😛Already have, three times.
Oh, and there's another one. Can anyone tell me what's actually been asked here?

Sounds to me that "block" is a UI block, and not SQL at all. Meaning - do something in a UI Panel, and have the results reflected in another block. Still - really guessing at it - that's very sparse.

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

Yeah, but "reflect in another block"?

I'm with Grant, heat, heat, heat.I like skiing, but other than that, I'd like warm weather all the time.
Denver doesn't seem like the right place for someone who likes heat.
Neither is Massachusetts, but "She who must be obeyed" likes the cold.
Hey, that's why I've spent the last 2+ months in NH.
Is that a jail? :hehe:

Yeah, but "reflect in another block"?
Try replacing "block" with Panel. And see if that makes more sense.
Of course - that's purely my read.

BWAAA-HAAA!!! Either that or it's how a GUI instructor would describe a recursive CTE! 😛

Ouch. 😀
It's possible to read that straight, or dripping with sarcasm. I wonder which he will do.

I particularly like his comment:
Multi datasets is one of the powerful tools in Reporting Services. The answer is in knowing the product, not 'don't do that'.
If he's an expert, why is he posting a vague question to a forum?
I'm shocked your reply was so nice. I would not have been as forgiving as you.

The guy who wrote the arrogant, idiotic post wasn't the OP. Different screen name and writing style, anyway.

Yeah apparently a different person. Which is why I pointed out the user name. Guys like that need to be slapped, but I really want to see their solution. I bet it would kill the SQL Server.
