Are the posted questions getting worse?

There's about 3 inches of completely frozen snow in my yard and another 4-6 inches of the fluffy crap on the way tomorrow night.

    BLECH!

It's been 30+ degrees here for the past two weeks (that's degrees Celsius), and that's in the shade. Want to come visit?

  • You forgot to tell that it's SUMMER down there :P.

  • In Chicago we're supposed to get 8 inches of snow today (it's already begun) before having an artic blast next week that'll keep us around 0 degrees farenheit, as the high, for several days at the minimum. Good thing we only have to deal with this for a couple more months.

Oh heck yes. I've got no issues with heat. You sweat, what's the big deal?

    Cold hurts.

I agree totally. The best part for me is that I only have 2 1/2 weeks until I get to go back to Florida. Hopefully I won't bring the cold south with me.

Please, Jack, please... take it with you. At least some of it.

Whine! There's been no heating in this office for a few weeks bar a miniscule fan heater - the company aren't fixing it as they're moving office in a few weeks. We're all sitting here wrapped up in woolies and scarves and I swear when you get in first thing you can see your breath.

I'm actually the other way around. The heat just kills me. Day after day of this and I can barely even think, just want to sit in a swimming pool all day. At least if it's cold, I can get a jacket, a blanket or something.

  • I'm with Grant, heat, heat, heat.

I like skiing, but other than that, I'd like warm weather all the time.

  • And in other parts of the country, we have a high of 60 expected in northern Mississippi and I'm wearing short sleeves. Back to you Matt..... 😎

I vote for heat too. Snow is something you go to Utah to play in and then come home. I spent two weeks in Chicago during January as a boy and decided to NEVER move away from the south.

Denver doesn't seem like the right place for someone who likes heat.

    Hi all.

I just wanted to be part of this thread, 63 pages and I've just entered it today :w00t: :alien:

See you in February after you finish reading everything.

  • I live in Tampa, and it's pleasant here today. Visited Spokane, WA, last month (family up there) and it was -4F when I got there (that's -20C for everyone who uses a sane thermometer).

After 7 years in Houston and 2 in Tampa, I miss winter/snow. On the other hand, I spent 4 years in a place that would go to -35F (-60F with wind chill) every winter (that's -37C, -51C with wind chill), ended up with frostbite in my hands, feet, face and ears, and I really don't miss that at all.

Gail, It is better like that, I have 10 inches of snow and today was -20C or -4F :w00t:
