OMG. Is it snowing in Florida? Is that ice I see on the roads?

I think I might actually LIKE a post from Mr. ANSI-Standards-Override-All!

Someone, quick, pick me up off the floor please!

Um, where the heck are you in Florida that you're seeing snow?
    An indoor ski resort?

H...E...Double Hockey Sticks appears to have frozen over.

Nah, Hell, Mich is only showing ~36F right now, so it's not frozen over...
Besides, if it does, it means the Lions have won the SuperBowl...
    😀

There's still time for that SuperBowl thing... @=)

Hee. If you had told me 2 years ago that I would be interested in the daily going's on of someone's bowel movements, I'd have told you "You be nuts!"

    Then I had a baby.

Oh, the embarrasssing things I do and ask these days... @=)

BWAAA-HAAA!!!!  Now THAT's funny!!!  Being a bit older, I can tell you that Mother Nature has a future exercise plan for you as she did me.... she made it extremely urgent to pee! 😀 I can get to the bathroom 30 yards away in record time. 😛

    Sigh.

Why oh why oh why do users not understand their own requirements? I've had to explain this one to the BA 3 times already and they're still trying to show me examples of "wrong data" that actually meet the requirements as they requested and approved (and in the case of the BA, wrote).

<headdesk>. It's going to be a long week and I even have the next three days off.

Going through a bit of the same thing here... the users/BA are used to seeing a report of data changes with about 50 columns of spreadsheet info,  About half of them are what the "old value" for the row was and the other half are the "new value".  Of course, right above that is the old rows with the same thing.  The original report writer did it that way because he was working with a PITA (but very necessary) column level audit table with such columns (it was wrong back then, IMHO).  I suggested that with the whole row auditing being done on some new tables, it would be much easier and a great time to get rid of the "old value" columns and just look at the previous row.  I was told "No" because it would take too long to train the people to read the report.  <Major Face Palm>.

Sad day, he as a very smart guy and 65 seems far too young.

I'll say... I just turned 66.  Makes it look like I'm living on borrowed time.  I hope that's not self prophesizing.  Like my Dad said, "If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself". 😀

They seem to be back.  I have reported the ones that I found in order to clear them.

Me too.  Must be a lot if more than one of us is nuking them.

Not for the Lions, there isn't. However, I admit to being completely floored that they beat both the Patriots and the Packers this year.  I heard about it and thought it was misreported or something.

It shouldn't be embarrassing at all.  It's called being a parent and there's more to come.  The things we do when our child is a baby are things we generally don't think about until we become parents.  Don't worry...it gets better.

But, if anyone tells you that they get cheaper as they get older, it's a lie.  I used to think "I can't wait until she's out of diapers" as I'd stop by the store after work to buy them again.  Now that my daughter is 16, I know that was nothing.  But it's all worth it.  I find that being a dad is the most rewarding thing I've ever done.

Between dogs and kids I can't tell you how many times my wife and I have said "never thought I would say that". Things like "stop licking the cabinets" or "did you seriously put that in your mouth after pulling it out of the toilet?". And the things we say to the dog are even more interesting.

Well, there's a slim chance, if they go lossless for the remainder of the season, that they *might* get to the SuperBowl...
Winning that, on the other hand, would require the other team to be made up of various high school players and a rec league coach...
