Are the posted questions getting worse?

And someone new to ssc gets Celkoed.  I really wish he would just go a way. Now.

And as smart as he is, he is such a hypocrite. Always bitching about being stuck in the past while he continues to BBS style "formatting". Hey Joe, have things in the presentation these days called style. We don't have to continue using tape drive logic of <<my quote here>> anymore. Good grief.

And for me his entire BS rant was lost on the first word. "Your" is possessive, you're is a contraction meaning "you are".

It was nice of him to confess to breaking the standards...

...although that probably makes his hypocrisy worse.

He's descending into being a troll, pure and simple.  He could have decent material to teach, but he chooses not to do so.  Instead, he's that it's more fun to berate people and recommend garbage.  It's a shame, but it's his decision to behave like a troll.

  • Good lord!  Have you seen the spam tonight?  It has affected all of the top 5 or 6 forums on this site and there's 40 to 50 on each forum.  It's just crazy.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

    yes,
a lot of work for the admins of this forum.
I think this question was asked serveral times before, but why is there no way to block spam like this.
A captcha at the end of the thread creation should be easy, or something like this?

    best regards

Took me 5 minutes just emptying my mailbox of the garbage notifications ... hope I didn't delete anything important, but I wasn't going to wade through it all to check.

    Still getting notifications ...

The most recent notification I had was from about an hour ago (at 11:52am BST)

I've not killed any fresh accounts since I posted above.  I guess the mail system is struggling to keep up.  Or someone else is also playing whack-a-spammer
