Are the posted questions getting worse?

We just had Paul Randal give our user group his famous Index Fragmentation lecture.  The man is one hell of a great teacher.  I hope he never loses his passion for teaching.

Lucky dogs.  I would love to have him speak at our users group meeting.

The only thing I came out with on the topic was: Does SO actually have Forum software? I thought it was Q&A software; which is quite different. :Whistling:

It just seems to be a good example of the broken window theory.

It started out so well, too.
Then it devolved way off-topic and (to me at least,) started getting rather heated.
I mean, I know a text-based interface isn't the best at passing along nuance, but geez...

I actually got into reading it properly, and actually would like to thank those that have put forward the ideas on using SP's as well. It's been a fight I've had at the office and slowly won people round, but definitely still have resistance. Your inputs will defiantely help me the next time the issue comes up. (would have posted it in the other topic, but didn't want to fan the flames 🙂 )

    He will do it remotely.

  • Crazy bloody weather...
Yesterday we were in the low 70s (Fahrenheit,) today we're in the high 50s, tomorrow the high is only supposed to be ~35...
    With freezing rain.
There's a winter storm warning for northern lower Michigan and the UP...

I thought we were in SPRING?!?

It's called spring because it bounces back and forth😀

That's how he did the presentation for us last night.  He's a absolutely phenomenal presenter and I don't know that anything was lost because it was done remotely.

Looks like a photo one of my co-workers showed me from a friend of his up by Sault Ste Marie...
    From yesterday.

My prediction, this summer is going to be either a cold summer (as-in we're still wearing light jackets some days,) or it's going to be the sort of scorching heat that your air conditioning has a hard time dealing with.  There is no in-between...

Not sure if we are equipped to handle a remote presentation.  I will have to ask at our meeting next week.

By the way, Steve, looking forward to your presentation.
