Sean Lange - Monday, April 9, 2018 7:37 AMWow what a weekend. My oldest was playing in the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) championships competition in Fort Wayne Indiana. He rode the bus with all the bands. My wife and I put in 2248 miles of windshield time from Thursday through Sunday afternoon. It was amazing to watch and hear some many incredibly talented musicians of all ages. My son's band got second place in the Youth Open division. Very proud of him and his accomplishments. Glad to be home but kind of wishing I had a day of relaxation before coming back to work today.
Awesome!!!
I still play, so I love seeing posts like this!

I was a trombone player, but I haven't touched it in 15 years. I keep meaning to get back into piano and from there back into bass (probably electric) and maybe learn guitar, but haven't made any of that happen yet.

Route 30 is one of two major roads to the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Last year, they attempted to add a layer of asphalt because the roadway sunk. Two weeks ago, they restricted it to one lane each way. Three days ago, the closed the entire roadway. Just in time!I'll bite. Not this year, fortunately. The collapse of Colrain road in Sandton.
It's at the bottom of a dip. The rains overwhelmed the drainage system (not uncommon, happens almost every time it rains) and washed the road support out.Ahhh. Crappy roads are a worldwide problem!
And here I thought Detroit roads were bad. Yeah, they suck, but you both win hands-down. Thanks for sharing the pics...it gives perspective.

There's nothing wrong with those roads. You just need the proper vehicle for them.

A vehicle like that would be great for Mexico city's traffic and rains. The only problem would be to find a parking spot.

It seems as if every DBA I know has some sort of background in music. I was also a trombone player, and my first go round with college was as a music major.

If you assassinate a DBA, would you pull a trigger?
