    The spam seems to be building up over the last few days ...

    We had an attack as I went on vacation. I got about 40 spam notifications as the filter started flagging items.

    This makes me wonder what you're looking at, because I saw very little spam when I got here this morning...  Admittedly, there are about 25 "possible spam" emails in my mailbox, which I haven't looked at, but I don't often see much more than a couple of posts on the "Latest Posts" view at https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/#section=latest&pageIndex=1&args%5BSortBy%5D=LastPosterDate

    There is a process that flags these async, as a sync process proved too slow.

    Use a shovel to clear snow and we managed to drive it out around noon. It was about 35F by then and the street around the spot had been plowed.

    Ever have one of those days where you know that as soon as you go put your lunch in the microwave, someone's going to call your desk or walk over or send an e-mail and need a response RIGHT NOW?

    That's what today feels like...

    My kingdom for me to finally have a backup person, or even better, a co-DBA...

    I started interacting with Pervasive SQL and it's frustrating. Why do people pay for a product that won't work as well as many other free products that have been well tested and have great communities to help?
    Hopefully, this won't be a main focus on my daily work.
