sure it does. didn't you read the release notes? DELETE was deprecated. Now you have to run a magnet over the disk manually, then restore everything BUT that row from backup after you reformat and re-install. Something about SOX controls.

How long till someone posts an answer with SQL Server 2017 syntax and to OP responds with something like "Hi, I'm getting an error: 'TRIM' is not a recognized built-in function name.' Can you help further, is my SQL Server missing something?". :hehe:

How do companies end up with people like this working with their databases? Wait, don't tell me, I really don't want to know. And yes, I know we all started as noobs.
