Just got a Job ad via email, "SQL Administrator - SSRS, SSIS, Qlikview", goes on and specifies "ERP systems including EDI and XML" as essential requirements, makes me wonder!

It's amazing how the hits on it have diminished.he he, nice obfuscation!
Back in the days I had MAC address registration on top of then standard WEP, if the nmap fingerprint didn't match, then everything was routed to CHARGEN (Character Generator Protocol), never had any problems😛
😎I decided to have some fun and see if I'm actually being watched from work (if I am, I might get a visit from some nice people,) my wifi is named KGB_POST_069
I've thought about setting up a guest wifi as well and calling it CIA_POST_960Those people would be the immigration officials looking for cold war leftovers ....
😎
Might be interesting to replace the KGB_POST_069 by SVR_RF_069 (for СлуÌжба внеÌшней развеÌдки - РоÑÑийÑкой Федерации - foreign intelligence service of the russian federation) since the KGB ceased a few days more that 24 years 11 months ago, and its foreign intelligence function is now handled by the SVR RF. Perhaps attract a different class of nice people?

Maybe EDI stands for "ExtraDimensional Intelligence" and XML is a Xanthic Money Laundering ? So the advertisers want someone to work on data handling and display to facility rendering acceptable the ill-begotten gains of some sntities from a parallel universe? That seems at least as likely as Electronic Data Interchange and Extensible Markup Language being included as part of essential Enterprise Reource Planning.

We have a third party "application" that the entire front end is written in flash. I have voiced my issues with this quite loudly over the last couple years as this project has been being developed. Yes it is new software being written in flash. Not sure what the powers that be will say now. :satisfied:
The same thing alot of companies said when MS dropped support for XP and IE 6?

Mmm, yeah, I don't think I'm going to click that link at work...
Probably bad enough I hovered over it to see where it went...

Don't you worry!
If you have Kaspersky Antivirus installed at work it will surely protect you from any threat which could possibly come from SVR.

Ah, teleworking...
Day 1 of teleworking - I have determined that pants are a plot by the lizard-men from the center of the moon, who rule the world behind the scenes, to keep humans uncomfortable and unproductive.
Day 1 (really? STILL?) of teleworking - Womens' pantyhose make a most comfortable hat, especially when you tie the legs around your neck like a mens' tie.
:hehe:

Oh god...
Almost sounds like a former "senior" employee is most displeased that s/he's no longer there, and trying to cause trouble...
