Luis Cazares - Wednesday, June 21, 2017 10:32 AMSean Lange - Wednesday, June 21, 2017 9:42 AMThis is totally off topic but man I really hate contract developers sometimes.Good thing that starting this week I'm no longer a contractor but a FTE. 😀
I gave myself enough wiggle with "sometimes" that I can easily add good folks like yourself to the list of people I would exclude from my hate list. 😀

Ed Wagner - Wednesday, June 21, 2017 11:45 AMWell, congratulations Luis. Well done. Are you still in Atlanta? Just as importantly, do you enjoy it, both the job and area?
Thank you, Ed. I'm still in Atlanta. Enjoying more the area than the job, but it's still a good place to work.

Heh... not me. I keep it simple. I wake up every morning hating everyone and then I make exceptions. 😉 If you speak to me before my 2nd 12oz cup o' joe, then there's no chance for you for the day.

The "Like post" thing is strange here. I saw a question that was really pretty bad but somebody had liked it. I was curious who could have possibly liked it. Now apparently I have also liked and there is no way to "unlike" it.

Gosh you're such a cynical mean bastard. Just the way I like them. I sure hate to be the lone cynic. 😀

Click the Like button again. It'll inform you that you've already liked the post and give you a "Delete My Like" button in the lower-left corner of the div.
And yeah, the Like thing has changed a lot. I think people are hitting like on 8-year old posts to get the point. The Posts versus Reputation is very different that what it once was.

Reminds me of a guy I used to work with, many years ago.
I once asked him - "How do you manage to upset so many people in one day?".
His answer - "I get up early".

Yeah, I've stopped caring about points.
Getting to 50k points was an achievement, since the change though I've relatively few posts and, well...

Yeah the points mean even less than they used to.

No, it was real. Jeff and I got to meet Luis while he was in town for a while and attended a couple of local PASS chapter meetings. It was a genuine pleasure to get to meet a fellow Threadizen and someone who gets it in SQL.
