Funny definition. Funny because that's what my particular group at Allstate has been trying to (and finally succeeding at) implement since I've been a part of the company back in 2005. It took us forever to get the culture change we wanted, but now we've got a better system than our corporate office in this regard.
I just didn't know there was an official term for it. @=)
The do... It's called "common sense and teamwork" but a lot of people didn't go there until it became a new bright-shinny object with a new buzz-word.
Buzzword, buzzword. Shiny, shiny buzzword.
Buzzword, buzzword. Make some up now!

Here's a video of a typical DevOps implementation kickoff meeting. 😉 "When a problem comes along..." 😛

Drew, are you getting help with that insomnia? If not, you should consider it. Insomnia can cause a lot of health, social, and economic problems. I'm speaking from experience here.

I couldn't hold back. I just hate that people think that we're getting paid to do their job. I'm happy to help because it's fun and it gives me the opportunity to learn, but I don't need to adjust to their "speed" requirements.

Not just arrogance but utter laziness. I saw a post from that person yesterday and mentally added them to my "warning list", I have now added them to my "do not bother" list.

It's not "arrogance". It's a sense of "entitlement" and that's 10 times worse. I feel sorry for his family because he's practicing being a "LUser".

I don't 'depend' on anyone here but I do learn tons by reading the questions and answers. Then I work backwards to figure out WHY and HOW the solutions worked. If I can't understand those two things then I can't use the code yet.
Personally I get annoyed when I see obvious homework questions. Those are my least favorites. And while most people call them out on it there's always one or two who provide an answer. They're not doing anyone any favors there.

So I have to write up a paper based on a Leadership case study. If I post the case study info here, will anyone write the paper for me?
I need it by a week from Wednesday. @=)
EDIT: This is for work. Honest! Not my MBA. Has *nothing* to do with my MBA.

Sure, I'm happy to do this unpaid, but I do expect your qualification (instead) at the end of it 😉
