What is on your menu for Thanksgiving?

    Can you share any recipes?

Our family will be having Thanksgiving at my wife's parents with turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, maple walnut sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, bread, pumpkin and pecan pies on the menu.

Going gluten free this year with my daughter trying to eat healthier. I had to find these two desserts. No idea how they'll go.

Have to drop this here, since I'm proud.

My son completed his Board of Review last night to earn his Eagle Scout rank. It's been a long journey, but he's finally done.

Congrats! I have served on review boards, and advised about 40 Eagle Scout candidates and can certainly attest that this is indeed an accomplishment to be proud of!

    Hopefully, some football :hehe:

...and a new kitchen? Although I suspect you might have left it a bit late to get it shipped, let alone installed... :Whistling:

Yes, but she has some level of intolerance, so it causes some health issues. Hence, we're all moving away for a bit.

When we talked to doctors about our daughter's suspected gluten allergy and we proposed to try to cut down to see if that helps, thhey told me that this should be an all-or-nothing package. According to them, if you are gluten-intolerant you only see relief when you cut out 100% of all gluten.

In other words, "moving away for a bit" might be a wasted effort (if I am supposed to believe the doctors we spoke)

There's a difference between intolerance and allergy, though. So for intolerance, reducing the intake or getting away for a while may make the gut happier.

    May, but may not also.

This is my lunch everyday. I have stopped with the shop bought coffee, rather have my own filtered.
