I foresee that question being asked again in the very near future.

I foresee feathers. Lots and lots of feathers.
And a few skimpily-clad cheerleaders.

Well, the summit has been good to me this year. I participated in many good sessions, including those by Grant, Gail, Wayne and Hugo (you all did GREAT! 6.0/5.0 stars ). If I missed anyone on the thread who presented, let me know - when I get the downloads I plan to watch several that I was not able to attend.

Thanks, Chad! I appreciate the kind words.
Which of my two session is the one you attended and liked so much?

Shifting gears back to the subject of SPAM on these forums...
It would appear that the only thing that the "user" known as "Wryan138" ever does is report spam. Is it possible that the folks here on SSC have implemented an anti-Spam bit of software and are simply afraid to let it do the job? Or is "Wryan138" a human that just happens to hate SPAM? π

Hi Jeff,Nope I'm a real person. I joined up an I've been reading EVERYTHING on the forum for
quite a while. The one thing I have noticed is that some of the senior members really
don't like the spam. Since I'm there already ... just trying to do my part.
We don't use Replication or Always On. We don't have any performance problems or any
really intricate queries. We did survive a couple of disasters quite nicely; one flood
and one electrically destroyed building. So we've been pretty self-sufficient.
So in lieu of some marvelous SQL wizardry, I'm just trying to help out a little.
Wayne
Outstanding! Thanks for the help on the SPAM thing. I have some abilities to hide the SPAM that appears on some of the forums and your reported SPAMs have been a help when I'm online but not in SQLServerCentral.
And, glad to meet you.

Hmmmm. No bad code? No problems with disasters? Sounds fishy to me...
Probably because I'm jealous!

So am I, and I also appreciate the reports. For a while, it appeared that the spammers were adapting because they were posting lots of spam to the forums I can't delete from. That changed last night, when they spread it out over lots of different forums again.

What is this ability to delete spam some of you are talking about? I guess I am not part of that club.
