Into my 19th hour for the weekend shift decided to google (Gone off bing) well know SQL Server people and found this (attached).... Im scared.

Don't be scared of him, he's quite harmless:-D

In my experience that mostly depends on how you have set up your backup routines

Oh, what a fun day this is turning out to be. (Check out the attachment)

    Whaaaaaa???

    How many sessions involved there?

    666 sessions

This appears to be related to an auto-update stats kicking off.

    had to fix the typo

    ROFL

That is, without a doubt, the busiest deadlock graph I've ever seen. I guess it provides some perspective the next time I look at one in my environment.

666, what an appropriate number for something that is so evil...

  • Ugh...

Those of you in the US might have heard about the "creepy clowns" that seem to be popping up all over the place, especially the one down in Georgia that was trying to lure kids into the woods...

Well, someone is apparently playing the same "game" in my neck of the woods, one of the local news is reporting (and showing a picture) of one quite literally less than a mile from my house...

Now, it could be it's just someone "copy-catting" the harmless prank (the "let's dress up as a clown, stand somewhere at night so we look creepy and freak people out") rather than the "let's try to lure kids into the woods with us" bad person or the "let's dress up as a creepy clown and scope out the area before doing a little breaking and entering so we can claim if the cops show up we're just playing a prank on people)...

But still, it's not a reassuring thing to have on my mind...

Hopefully it's part of a big promotional campaign for Stephen King's It remake. I also hope that the moon is made out of cheese and there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I'll be happy with a unicorn that farts money, you can have the moon and the rainbow (just saw Deadpool on cable last night...)

As for the clown stuff, someone is, best case, going to have a very uncomfortable discussion with the police, worst case end up in the hospital...

Apparently 'New Line' has gone on the record to state that it's not them promoting the movie.

Agreed - depending on who they try to lure, it could be significantly worse than the hospital.
