Are the posted questions getting worse?

Taking my girls (7 & 9) to New York this weekend, does anyone have a suggestion on what to do there for their age?

    😎

I'll be at Yankee Stadium tomorrow. Want to come join me for a ballgame? 🙂

Take me out to the ball game.

Take me out to the crowd.

Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks.

I don't care if I ever get back...

    The chorus goes like this:

Take me out to the ball game,

    Take me out with the crowd;

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,

I don't care if I never get back.

Let me root, root, root for the home team,

    If they don't win, it's a shame.

For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,

    At the old ball game.

A few of them? I don't think a single one is correct.

Allowing for the writer's inability to write correct English I think (but am not sure) he may in one or two of them have been trying to say something that is correct, but his poor grasp of English prevented him from doing so.

I know where 5 Threadizens are going to be on Oct 24th, 2016. How many are going to join us?

If I were attending PASS Summit this year I might go, but I'm missing the PASS Summit this year.

Got to the following from a LinkedIn email. Not sure about a few of the answers.

    https://intellipaat.com/interview-question/sql-interview-questions/

    I posted a comment. I couldn't help it.

Your comment isn't on the site yet.

I too attempted to comment, don't know whether my comment will ever appear there, but I fel obliged to try to warn people against paying attention to this rubbish.

I thought the Buffer Cash is where my 401k is stored. Are you saying that I'm wrong?

Well with such low interest rates in the UK right now, that's where I store my spare cash!

    Rodders...

Don't you have a pension fund (or something similar) of your own? :hehe:

They must be proud of their site. It helps unqualified people get jobs they can't handle.

I would have thought that that set of answers would be more likely toensure people didn't get jobs) - unless of course the interviewer was someone who had learnt from that Q & A list)

I know I would call into question anyone that provided answers like those.

If those were the answers given to those questions, I don't think I would have many questions. It would be pretty clear.

  • Here's a thought. So many people are asking for interview questions, why don't we create a list of subjects that are often covered by interviews (possibly including links to BOL) that people can use to study?

Questions vary by interviewer to interviewer, but subjects don't. And giving people a list of subjects to study would help them to get to know the material, because it's more than just memorizing an answer. Right?

  • That's a great idea for an article, maybe one that can be maintained over time. Unfortunately, it's not going to stop, or probably even slow, the "just give me the question/answer I need to get a job so I can get paid big bucks doing something I'm woefully unqualified for" requests.

Hahahahahahahahah... Oh, you were serious, not making a joke

I suspect that the people asking 'gimme questions and answers' aren't looking to study or get to know the material better.

How does such a list differ from 'what you need to know to be a DBA/DB dev/etc'?

Are you suggesting to have something similar to Q&A where the A means articles instead of answers? That would be a large list.
