Never made the event in Atlanta. I'd like to, but timing seems to fail. My middle kid graduates tomorrow, so no can do.

When are you coming out to Albany, Steve? Besides, I think I still owe you a beer! 🙂

    Congratulations on the graduation.

ON the SQL Saturday topic, the rumor is that a Detroit one will hopefully be scheduled for February 2017. I hope you can make it.

Detroit in February. Just as appealing as Cleveland in February! And yet, I keep going year after year!

Gosh that sounds awesome. We are going on a family driving vacation around the East coast for a week. Not quite the same but should be lots of fun.

On my list, but taking July off. Too much travel this year so far, so need a break before a busy Sept/Oct

  • Feb 2017, Detroit. Noted. I will try to make this a priority.

Sweet, thanks. I wish we were having one this year, but it just isn't realistic.

Spent the weekend pulling vines off my fence and a tree to force the local hornets to find someplace else to nest.

Then resting because I injured my foot in the process.

Got out and sort of reffed some soccer and provided some constructive criticism for one looking at going to an AYSO Soccer Tournament in Utah soon to get is Advanced Referee assessments. I want him to go already getting some good advice on positioning. He is going to be working true U16/U19 games out there and I want him ready for them.

Reason I say true U16/U19 games, our region doesn't have the players so our U16/U19 players also have U12 and U14 players on their teams. Not quite the same dynamics.

Where on the East coast? I'm on the northeast coast (NH) and if you are going to be close it would be cool to meet up.
