Okay, this is weird. I went searching for an error I got in SSIS 2012 and the first thread that pops up in Google is a thread I posted about the issue a few weeks ago (I forgot I'd posted about it).So the weird part? The link was NOT pointing to SSC. It was pointing to a website called DB-PUB. And the link (with all text reposted verbatim and no indication that it came from SSC) is here.
Steve, did anyone at RedGate give these people permission to repost from this site without attribution?
They actually have most of the forums reproduced. :crazy:
They have a SSC section....like for like :unsure:

I've never even heard of that site, much less posted anything on it. Yet my name is all over the place, as is yours, Luis. Wholesale stealing of a site's content and republishing it is ridiculously unethical if you ask me.

Okay, this is weird. I went searching for an error I got in SSIS 2012 and the first thread that pops up in Google is a thread I posted about the issue a few weeks ago (I forgot I'd posted about it).So the weird part? The link was NOT pointing to SSC. It was pointing to a website called DB-PUB. And the link (with all text reposted verbatim and no indication that it came from SSC) is here.
Steve, did anyone at RedGate give these people permission to repost from this site without attribution?
They actually have most of the forums reproduced. :crazy:
They have a SSC section....like for like :unsure:
They also copied the blogs and scripts sections.
And articles, which they did NOT pay me for. Now I'm kinda angry.
EDIT: My mouse is acting weird, closed the window where I thought I saw one of my articles, and now I can't find it again. But search your name on the site and see if it pops for you or if it just pops threads.

That's the wrong guy. He's dbpub.com. There's a db-pub.com (hypen) that shows up, but isn't loading now.
