*sigh* All but one comment on a blog post are of the form 'Did you try X?' 'Have you compared Y?' 'Probably should have a test with Z'
*NO. If I had, they would be in the post and besides it's not the point and wasn't what I was doing in the first place*

Suddenly everythings is so quiet, no notifications or emails blimping on the phone, not a single message since early afternoon, am I lucky or maybe Steve, is SSC's email service down?😎
...or maybe I should have charged my phone:-P
Steve's at Red-Gate central, so he put one of the developers on the list for all spam until it got fixed.
Steve, are you coming down to London by any chance? Let us know as it's time to hit you with some real ale:-D

Paintball is getting more and more complicated...
I wonder if it'll work with Express or if it needs Enterprise?

I've been outlawed from paint ball forever... I threatened to build a paintball "Nuke".

yeah, I got in trouble when I went hand-to-hand during a paintball game. As I said at the time, "Well, if you'd have given me a bayonet, this wouldn't have happened."

Quite looking forward to seeing them in 2015.
So, I expect, are a lot of the tuning pro's anticipating bug bucks for fixing probelms caused by the new shiny toy being applied "because it's NEW AND BETTER" in such a way 3Gb is shared between 3 buckets and the hardware upgrade somehow didn't help.

Oh sorry forgot to mention they also asked me who Paul Randal is / what a MVP is? ( Only because I put down my mentoring / training relationship with him) .... FACEPALM.Ha! I think I can top that. I have also had a phone conversation with an interviewer who had no clue what the MVP award is - but in my case, the interviewer was a Microsoft HR employee, interviewing for a position in Microsoft...
Hugo, you win!
Yup, that just might take the cake. Pretty sad, but somehow not as unexpected as we've come to expect nowadays.
At Microsoft the left hand never knows (admits) what the right hand is doing. 🙂
The left hand knows there's a right hand?!

The "have you tried SCHEMABINDING" on the comment was kind of funny in a sad "didn't you read the code before posting" kind of way.
The article was a good read, Gail.
