Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • Gosh. The SPAM doesn't seem as bad as it was a couple of weekends ago but it's still about a quarter of the posts that are up right now. I know it's more difficult than it seems to detect and auto-delete it but most of the SPAM posts missed by that functionality contain only a URL. It seems like those should be pretty easy to identify and auto-delete.

It's also no wonder why the "membership" of SSC is quickly approaching the 2 million mark. SPAMing once under a user name and then spamming under another would make the "membership" skyrocket.

The way things go around here this week and next, I think they should just make it official...

Starting 7 working days before X-Mas, each day you take one hour off the number of hours people have to work...

So by the day before the holiday, you come in for about 2hrs and head out to enjoy the holiday with family and friends (or if you're a procrastinator, shopping for gifts...)

So if they make it official, would it match what already happens at your office?

It'd be close, it'd be close...

Fewer and fewer people here as it gets closer to the holiday, and the ones who are here (even to some extent myself) get slower and slower...

I'm much more in favor of the "Come in late and leave early to make up for it" policy. 😀

So, does that mean you could come in late enough that you would have had to leave before you got there to make up for it?

Does DBCC TIMEWARP allow for the possibility of meeting yourself on the way out the door as you're coming in late?

It doesn't apply, but lightsabers were banned in some theaters in the US. Others just banned masks and blasters. That's so sad in my opinion.

But you also need to take a long lunch.

The days that aren't so fun are when you come in early because then you have to skip lunch and stay late. :w00t:

    I love it!

    Love it! Want it!

Fan of all three. Not melting down. Just laughing hysterically at my desk while my coworkers wonder what happened while I was on an extended vacation that has me acting all coo coo.
