So am I. I will be driving down Prescott, AZ to visit my daughter down there over the Labor Day Weekend.

Another funny one today. Provided a DMV and a link to the documentation. I was asked "Is that real?"Nope. Just faked out the entire MSDN web site to pull a prank.
GRANT! You've destroyed my childhood!
And here I thought you were a serious SQL Server person, not a professional internet prankster. I'm heart-broken. Completely heart-broken.
You should be cheering for me. That was an awful lot of work. Tens of thousands of pages of correct documentation, all to post one that wasn't. Not to mention getting Microsoft in on the gag.

Maybe I've been on the forums too much.
Shall we get started on the MSDN page for DBCC TimeWarp? 😀
Someone should write up an April Fools article for SSC on the benefits of DBCC TimeWarp especially when the flux capacitor is pre-wet with some form of beer.
Beer?
Holy crap! I've been dousing the thing in single malt all this time. No wonder it doesn't work right.

We also need someone to do a presentation on that for the April 1st/2017 SQL Saturday. 😀
DIBS!!!!!
That could be amazing... or totally awful.

I would definitely attend your presentation on DBCC Timewarp. However, given the topic, expect some serious heckling. 😉

This could be interesting, especially when taking into consideration that the ISNUMERIC (has this ever been or will this ever be considered a number) function is a small subset of the DBCC Timewarp;-)

So for AMAZON this guy is going to use a 6 character password? And for Yahoo he'll have a 5 character password?
It seems probable that the article has rather oversimplified things. I'll read the paper when I have time, since I suspect that there is actually something viable there.

Or just keep it simple and if the domain name is less than 8 characters simply add ".com" (or whatever) using the same replacement logic.

Could be something like IuseAmazon. Of course he doesn't want to give away his whole method...just give people the idea. But I do like his way of thinking. I used an 'easier' version of that, but I've since changed my method.
If you are a touch-typist, move your fingers up one row and type normally. So....MyPassword would become
J6)qww294e Combine that with the name of the website and you've got some pretty tough passwords. And no need for a matrix to remember which letters/numbers/symbols to use.

That's a neat approach and one I've never even considered. What I do know for sure is that having all these passwords are a complete pain. I hate using any single password for more than one thing, so they pile up.
Use a password manager and stop worrying.
I don't worry about passwords any more. 🙂
Instead, I worry about forgetting the pass phrase for my password manager. :ermm:

No point. every time it's finished someone uses he doc to find out how use the tool to eliminate its doc so that they are the only person with the full documentation (or, when the tech authors are lookig for revenge, "the fool documentation").

Well, here's a nice misquotation to fit that situation:
Well bred DBAs think it rude
to show their tonsils in the nude.
I wonder how many threadites can recognise the source of the [mis]quotation. Maybe if the there are none I could use that DBCC stuff to unwrite the original I'm misquoting (and the novel that contained it, and it's tens of companions in the series) so as to publish all those books as my own - -
and maybe even become as rich as Grant! Anyone who can actually do a presentation on DBCC Timewarp without getting run in by the FBI for betraying state secrets must be rich enough to bribe at least half the Attorney general's subordinates - cascading all the way down the tree - as well as the man himself. And besides, he must be crazy rich if he can afford to waste good malt on a flux capacitor that prefers Afghani beer, probably because it's so good at enhancing flux (usually the flux in and/or from thestomach and intestines of its consumers).
