That's ok. I'm staying high up in the trees, shielded from view by the leaves.
Good catch GSquared.

My grandmother had a giant willow tree in her back yard. The trunk was easily 8 feet across. Had a huge community of chipmunks and squirrels in it, and cats would chase them up the tree, across the branches, and catch them! First time I saw it, my first thought was, "why does the cat even bother", since I assumed there was no way for a cat to successfully catch a squirrel once the squirrel was up in a tree. I was shocked when the cat climbed faster and more agily than the squirrel, caught it, killed it, and then proceeded to start the usual howl for help in getting back out of the tree.
On the last bit, I pretty much took the attitude, "You just ran up that tree and caught a live squirrel while up there, after jumping from branch to branch at full speed. Trust me, you can get back down on your own." It managed.

Anyone catch this little gem?
I didn't even read what he said...

We have a parrot on the site who is mimicing advice or giving really bad advice. For example, check ouy the gem I highlighted in the post before your drive by.

I read that gem. Had to read it twice to be sure that I wasn't misreading things.
Shaking head here all the while. Some days I think I should just go cut grass.

Yea, I agree at times. Any way, we've been asked to intercede. You, because you are always politically correct (I'd prefer the term professional) and myself because, well, I am the Saint of SSC. No kidding, look up a few posts, I'm not making this up.

I apologize for jumping in by posting a question on one of the echo threads that Gail shared. Didn't realize that consensus what that to leave it to Steve and Lynn. I don't think I was being too pushy in my post, just asked why he copied/pasted previous post.

No problem here. Actually, I think the more of us that call the parrot on his actions the better. We just need to be sure to do it in a professional manner.

Cats were worshipped as gods in ancient Egypt. Cats have never forgotten that.
Dogs serve their owners with unconditional love,
Cats let us live because it suits them...for now.
That being said, I live in a small apartment and would prefer a cat, lower maintenance.
Edit: One of these days, I'll learn how to spell.

I know that I am going to be kicked from several sides for this statement.... But here it is..
"There are two animals that I dislike, One is Snake and the other is Cat" I cannot stand a cat. I like dogs. But cats I cant stand them.

Here's a joke that's been around:
The dog looks at you and thinks to himself,
"You feed me, you shelter me, you love me. YOU must be God!"
The cat looks at you and thinks to himself,
"You feed me, you shelter me, you love me. I must be God!"
