Are the posted questions getting worse?

    I don't know about others but I am really tired of people thinking that using vulgarity is appropriate in a professional environment and this is a professional environment and it bothers me more and more as I get older. Enough of the WT*.

    Lynn, regardless of how you feel about it, after Monday and Tuesday, we're still gonna have WTF. 😀

    Sorry. Just couldn't resist. 😎

    I've read many (probably 100s) of of Lynn's posts over the last few years. Few people are more helpful and few people love rules as much as this very conservative gentleman.

    Okay, the PASS Conference is October 27th through October 30th (not currently registered for any pre-cons). I'm thinking I should fly in on the 26th and leave the evening of the 30th since I need to be back on the 31st to coach a U18 Girls soccer game.

    This make since? I thought I should start looking into flights to Seattle now.

    There is SQL in the City (free) the monday prior to Summit.

    There is also rumor of a (free) day long training by a bunch of MCMs on Tuesday.

    So you are hinting I should come in on Sunday?

    Sunday or Monday

    I'm flying in the Friday before, sight seeing and shopping.

    Flying back the Friday night, would like to have stayed Halloween but I have something on in England.

    Yes there is a Andy & Steve meet and greet on the Monday;

    I'd still recommend coming in on Monday. I'm assuming Andy and Steve will have their networking dinner on Monday night and there is always something to do on Tuesday.

    Hoping to. Need to line up a venue

    But you didn't do it MY way on MY setup, so whatever you are doing is not valid. I don't want to know a better way I want you to approve of MY way.

    It does kinda sound like someone got his pride hurt, which is silly since Alan said "excellent solution."

    Sounds like "I can only charge for MY solution regardless of how much better other solutions are" and of course Alan being a Gentleman he would not comment in an offensive manner.

    Maybe he has coded it differently than you guys? Or maybe his hardware does cause it to run slower - that happens.
