Grant would love this query. Views within views within views with a CTE and a temp table for good measure. Parse time is around 45 seconds.

And in unrelated news, something of moderate interest might be happening this afternoon/tonight (depending on timezones). Watch twitter.

GAH!!! Sometimes I hate having to work with so many different versions of sql all the time. I have been beating my head against the wall trying to write a query with a cross apply to a hard coded list of three values. I swear the syntax is correct...I tried a simple version on my local and it was fine. WTF is the problem?? Oh yeah, production is still running 2005. :crying:Honestly, I don't think your coding is the problem here, trailing back to Yukon/Picasso means you're environment is slightly behind, not to say more.
😎
For the giggles (or rather buckets of tears) how many are still running outdated versions of SQL?
Aye, all the way back to 2000. In fact the last v7 based system only died a few months back. I do, however, have a (funded) cunning plan ...
We do currently have a vendor requesting we put in a new 2008R2 box for them. Really, you want us to install a non-supported version of SQL Server - that is SUCH a good sign of your commitment to the future this product ...
I'm a DBA.
I'm not paid to solve problems. I'm paid to prevent them.

Where are the balloons from the ceiling? Confetti?Cake?
This has been quite the disappointment.
I thought we all would get 50,000 extra points.
