Nice catch, Lynn. Does the count include ghost posts or is someone replacing the one taken down?

Your life is nothing more than a transaction waiting to be committed, killed or rolled back. If a transaction is rolled back, did it ever exist?

Yes, some bastard managed to read it using NOLOCK.

Which is correct if you read the word "query".
I have heard it All three ways. And two of them just hurt my ears to hear them.
Not remembering the phonetics for the second syllable, pronounce it "kwer" with the "eeeeee" added. So do most of the people around here and most of the people where I grew up in the Mid-West.
Assuming e is the elongated "eeeeee" sound, the second pronunciation would be for the place where miners work (a quarry).

An alternative to the second of three is:
kwere
I have always pronounced it as query (first one).
The second is queery (yup - long e's for e ).
And yes that last one is quarry - generally where rocks might be (that or in some peoples brains). 😀

The above sounds like with "air" or "bear"? I have heard this pronunciation but that has not happened frequently.
kwire
The above sounds like "clear" or "fear"? This is who I pronounce and nearly everyone I know and have met.
kwôre
The above sounds like "core" or "bore"? I have never heard it pronounced like that.

Yes, some bastard managed to read it using NOLOCK.
Between NOLOCK and DBCC Timewarp, we're lucky to have ever existed. Then again, if the transaction is rolled back, there's a pretty serious transaction log that would have to be read and applied.
