Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • Paging Grant...

I can get to Redgate for about 4 pm, traffic permitting. Maybe a bit before.

So if you are still up to meet and have a chat let me know.

Also (wearing my SQL Sat Southampton hat) do you know if Alex Yates or Vicky will be around?

Had a good first SQL Sat Southampton committee meeting last night. πŸ™‚

New question: Is the sanity of those trying to answer posted questions getting worse?

    Mine sure is! :hehe:

Yeah! Stopped answering questions for a few days. No sign of sanity yet...

    Chris,

That does suggest you were sane before answering questions... :w00t:

I should still be there at 4. I'll look for you then. I'm not sure who else is going to be around.

    Excellent news Grant.

If I get delayed I'll tweet you or something!

No probs with Alex & Vicky - bit of a last minute thing that, but I may well have to mention Southampton to you πŸ˜‰

So are you settled into a new contract then?

    Is it more local?

I've been extended until Sept 25, so if you are about we can meet up sometime?

Well done Rodders, that's the Rodlets fed for another few months!

My last day here is Monday. The next gig starts Tuesday, it's just off Picadilly Circus so it's about 2/3 of the journey time to here. As a bonus it's right next to Chinatown and also one of my favourite pubs, De Hems on Macclesfield St.

I have to go in for a 3 hour briefing tomorrow morning, not something that's happened to me before - have you come across this? Oh and yes, there will be beer...any time you're in the area give me a holler!

Good news then - yum, Chinatown...

Not had that before, I'm seeing companies do the come by for 30 - 60 minutes to get a feel for the office before finalizing things, but not a pre start briefing. Interesting.

  • Help. The OP keeps asking questions about HA that I can't answer. I know they doesn't understand the stuff they're finding on the internet, but at least (finally) they're trying to use Google.

Can someone with more experience swing by and drop a few words of wisdom before I steer this person in the wrong direction?
