    AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHGHGHGHGHGHGH!!!!

I could see this one coming miles away, surprised how long it took.

    😎

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I hit that stage this morning, but didn't have time to post a detailed reply.

Most certainly is the one, luckily to busy with work to contribute /get frustrated and there wasn't any need to add to the excellent advice given by you guys.

    😎

I've almost walked away twice because they just can't seem to listen. But I can kind of see the total panic that they're in. I'm trying to push them a little bit in a direction, but even there they can't seem to follow the directions at all. I'm sure part of it is language issues, but not all of it.

    Glad you didn't!

    😎

Okay...you guys are killing me. Can your please post link? It sounds intriguing.

    Enjoy!

    😎

Most interesting thread. At the rate it's going, I predict that the OP will get frustrated with lack of a fix, and stop showing up.

  • I checked MSDB, there are no missing backups

    2 hours later

There's a problem, the query on MSDB showed a transaction log backup that's missing.

Hmmm. Or is this quantum backups, it's both missing and there until someone looks and collapses the waveform?

Yeah, no safeties and a hair trigger. We like it like that, but keep your head down.

"Really? You can't help me based solely on the brief description and current output of my query?"

Why are people so reluctant to help us help them?

Sorry, my hands and feet are tied, I can't lift the silver spoon myself.

Just remember - there IS no spoon....
