RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

If your default setting under Post Options (which you see when writing a response) says "Immediate Notification of New Posts by Email", then yes, you get re-subscribed when you post again. If you change your notification setting to nothing on the Manage subscription page, then this setting does not override your existing subscription setting.

Sean, if I ever make it over to your neck of the woods, we're going to have to go out for barbeque. 😉

Better bring some saddlebags...we have a LOT of choices around here. The best part is we can wash it all down with some great local beer.

It was my pleasure to meet both of you. I hope to start scratching names off my bucket list now that I'll be traveling on this side of the border. 😀

There's plenty of good bbq and local beer here in Chicago this time of the year. Just sayin'.

  • Just came across some outrageous sexist claptrap. From what I can see, a reviewer for a journal wrote a totally biased sexist review of a scientific paper, there is an account in THE here; a slightly shorter account appeared on sciencemag.org here and some of the comments provoked by that article provide an absolutely amazing display of male chauvinistic sexism.

Doesn't come as any surprise at all.
