Are the posted questions getting worse?

Still finding it interesting that the only notifications I am getting are for old threads I am subscribed to but not the ones I have recently subscribed to. Anyone else having this issue?

My notifications appear to be working properly. I have notifications for topics I posted to today for the first time. I'm curious, what happens if you start a new topic? If you start one, I'll post a reply to it to see if you get notified.

And if you're wanting to test notifications for someone else's thread, I just started a test thread here.

I think I figured it out. All my recent notifications are showing a none. Something is weird as I don't recall setting anything to automatically set my notifications like that.

Good news that this is something easily resolved.

Yeah, at least there's an explanation for it. Those are easier than the ones that have no explanation - "nothing changed" and "it just started acting this way" and "I didn't change anything" are some of my favorites. 😉

I don't see anything in my profile that would set notifications to nothing as a default (unless I am blind).

You do remember that forums tend to have databases on the back end, right? And that databases tend to have DBAs making changes to them whenever they feel the need to play with data. And that Steve is conveniently away (ISTR) on some conference so no one can accuse him of messing with all of us, right?

(Hey, conspiracy theories need to start somewhere.) #SQLConspiracy

Yea, figured that out with Brandie's help. Like I said there, I don't remember changing this setting. I will leave it to old timers syndrome.

How many people does it take to rescue a cat from two dogs stuck in a child gate in a hallway with a dog on each side of the gate?
