Should have started this a while ago!(To the tune 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall)
... Mark one off, 78 days to go on the calendar. 78 days to go on the calendar, 78 days to go, ...
Down to 22 days, doesn't seem like 56 days ago, time really flies!
😎
It's taken forever to get here, but the time seems to be moving a bit faster with each passing day.
Before you know you'll be angling for a trout in one of your beautiful Colorado creeks (stream in English ;-)),!
😎
Just one problem, I'm not a fisherman, or a hunter.
Out of curiosity, apart from SQL, what are your hobbies?
😎
Officiating youth and high school soccer (yes, I get paid for some but some is also volunteer), reading (Sci Fi and Fantasy mostly), bowling, some video games.
Guess you don't have much time for hobbies out there?
😎
Just work, eat, sleep, repeat. Not much one can do when you work 12+ hours a day every day.
That's 84 hours a week, hope you're getting paid accordingly!
😎
Depends. At the moment, since we have an upgrade pending in the next 2 or 3 weeks, I am able to bill 84 hours. We have gone between billing 72 hours and 84 hours depending on budgets. Except for one week I have been billing 84 hours since Thanksgiving. Loved the holiday season.

Kind of makes it all worth while, must say I'm getting too old for this kind of work (read spoiled ), did similar in the "old days" earning a down payment for the first apartment in less than a month. Shifting gears, any plans of crossing the pond to the old country when you'r back home?

I would like to take a trip to Iceland, but it will have to wait. I also already have planned to attend PASS 2015 in Seattle. I'll be taking 4 weeks off on return home and have quite a lot planned during that time, including a college road trip with the youngest the last week I'm off.

Really? Yankees fans? Are they even human?
Usually not - they're mostly American.

Okay, I'm insulted and I am not a Yankee fan.

Anyone know anything about this Grant guy? Does he know what he's talking about?Nah, I hear he's a giant bag of wind and a bit of a schmuck. However, he dresses nice and can lift 400lbs.
Dresses nice? Nice dresses?
Hmmmm, are we thinking about the same person?

Ouch. I'm probably 0-4 then, US American, rooting for the Cowboys, Yankees, and Lakers since I was kid.

By that standard, I think a lot of us will be 0-N, including me. I like the Packers. Yes, I'm from Michigan and no, I do not cheer for the Lions.

I think they have enough. You know, I thought the 12" we got all at once was bad, but they're getting some serious snow. I heard that things are closed because everything is buried and they're running out of places to put it. There are reports of 15-foot piles and they can't pile it up any higher. And guess what's in the forecast through Friday...more snow. Nothing heavy, but given what they have, they certainly don't need any more.

I could use some too. Enough to fill a swimming pool. It's seriously hot here at the moment (~35 C the last week or so)
