    So....

What's the superhero costume of choice here? SQL Bits is a month+ away, with the theme of superheroes for the Friday night party.

Need to get ordering something to take with me.

Steve, drawing a blank on Cowboy Super Heroes, there must be one that had a penchant for wearing Hawaiian shirts when not as the Super Hero ? 🙂

    Rodders...

I don't know that Jonah Hex ever wore Hawaiian shirts, but he's a cowboy comics hero. (Not sure about the "super" part either).

Nice one Brandie, I knew someone here with more comic book knowledge than me would come to the rescue!

Close enough for SQL Bits - The Scooby gang count!

    There you go Steve sorted!

I see how to change my name on my account and I'll go do that here in a minute. I'm just not sure it'll cascade to everything else.

It cascades to all your forum replies, but it isn't replaced in the texts of people who have quoted you.

Anyway, I admire your courage and I hope all the best for you.

    Good luck.

Second that. My friend Alisha seems a lot happier since taking the same step, hope it works as well for you.

Hi & nice to meet you Shev!

No punts on Ayla or Kara yet? I've not got a clue who they are!

Unfortunately my only guess is Green Lantern and Supergirl. But my head is in geekland at the moment.

    Very close!

The first is not Green Lantern, but is a comic character.

The second is Supergirl/Power Girl. I've always been a huge Superman fan, so this seems appropriate.

Then it would be Lightning Lass (if we're still in DC land) or whatever she's calling herself these days.

That's it! I'm a huge Legion fan & her name was one I was considering. When a friend pointed out that she started in the comics by pretending to be her brother, it became the obvious choice. : -)

Argh. Coffee on my keyboard, dammit.

I hope it wasn't good coffee that you spilled. Oh yeah, and that your keyboard is okay. 😀 If you're typing that, I presume that it's okay.

Does it have to be a hero? Terra Man would be appropriate and hilarious.

The face makeup for Jonah Hex might be daunting. There's a ton of western, but non super heroes. Might try Rawhide Kid or Vigilante (original) The former dated She-Hulk, the latter has a motorcycle and was part of the Seven Soldiers of Victory.

    You should go as Powergirl.

I have dibs on Guy Gardner Flash.

Funny, Power Girl is one of the few costumes I've worn. : -)

Do you mean Jay Garrick Flash? Golden Age? WWI helmet with wings?

Wow, total brain fart. Yes, Jay Garrick. I already picked up an old Civil Defense M1917 helmet. I just have to paint it silver (or ruin it as my son puts it) and get the red shirt.

Nice. That should work out great.

Does it have to be from the comics? What about 80's cartoons like Bravestarr or the Galaxy Rangers?

Somehow, my favorite idea would be something like this. Obviously with the hats changed.

  • Hawaiian Deadpool. Awesome.

Not sure what to do, but looking around still. I think Powergirl is out. My waistline wouldn't do the costume justice.
