Why do I feel that WC is heading down a deep dark hole??Did you see somebody push him in the hole?
I have plausible deniability, I did not realize there was a hole. 😀
But you did see the person kneeling down behind him tho.:w00t::w00t:

Well, probably. If you're referring to the thread I think you're referring to, I abandoned the discussion because the last time I saw it, I didn't think he was interested in understanding it and went off on an SSIS tangent, which I don't know anyway. I got the impression that he just wanted someone to write the whole thing for him and will later deny responsibility for the code he put into production. I feel bad for abandoning it, but if he doesn't want to learn it, what can we do?

Most definitely looking that way from his latest posts.

Yeah, I just got caught up on it. I agree. All he did was change the key and it's doesn't decrypt? How could this happen? Who every heard of just a travesty? We can't he just use any old key, recreate it several times (differently) and have it decrypt? What's the point of encryption again? I think he lost track of it. I'm sorry to say it, but I'm leaving it alone.
I'll be on vacation next week anyway. 😀

Ok, we all know Mad Max.
But what movies are those other characters from?

Maybe it's just me, but one of them looks like she'd rather be holding a katana.

Well who knows what tomorrow might bring?
Tonight's Steampunk themed party was excellent. Gail looked lovely, Katana, hidden from sight (obviously she is always prepared!). Steve did a very good impression of, well, Steve... As did I, as I didn't manage to sort out a costume!
I didn't manage to win anything from the fairground stalls 🙁
But I did get to met Eirikur in person, which was a pleasant surprise.
I'm off to bed as tomorrow is an early start!.

Me too.
I've written comments on his last three posts, but each of those three posts individually is a pretty clear indication of lack of comprehension and heading for disaster (as well as of being completely cluesless about what he needs to provide in order to enable anyone to help him). If his future posts in that thread are similar I will leave him to it, there's nothing I can do to help someone who is giving every indication of not even trying to understand.
edit: BTW, Eirikur, I was pretty glad you joined in on that thread - I was slowly going crazy wondering whether I would be able to retain my cool before you stepped in. At one point he even had me thinking I had got things wrong when he claimed that something didn't work, so that I posted a wrong correction to one of my posts (utterly wrong, as the original post was right). Interestingly enough he didn't follow the false trail that laid out - so he's not 100% dim.

Conference done, vacation beginning.
Can some nice people please keep an eye on corruption theads and provide useful and safe advice? I might drop in occasionally to post photos, but that'll probably be all.
Bits was awesome. Photos of that will follow once I get them cleaned up (unblured in some cases)

Would that be this bunch?

That looks eerily like them - freaky!!!
Slightly more facial hair than most of them sport, but basically, yeah, that's it.

Gail, I haven't had a chance to check the ones I took on Saturday. Did they come out alright?
Indeed Bits was a blast.
Back to normality now, whatever that is!
Good to see / hug (many many hugs) you again.
also glad you finally got to meet Steph Locke.
Have a fantastic break, hopefully the weather will hold out for most of it.
