Woohoo!! Done with work for the evening, and in the morning we're heading to New Orleans for a long weekend. 😀 😀 😀I would send you all beignets, but they don't travel well.
beignets - yum.
must be time to get some - sounds tasty
How about we find somewhere in Seattle for summit and get some (must be good ones tho).
In Seattle you can forget about beignets. If you want an amazing breakfast there go find Beth's cafe. I will warn you NOT to order the full omelet unless there are 2-3 of you. The half omelet is 6 eggs and comes loaded with mountains on ingredients and unlimited potatoes.

No implied either, my respect on handling the situation! So far, JC is the only one that has managed to rub me the wrong way:-D😎
Hmmm, I hope I'm not the JC who rubbed you the wrong way.
No this one is Lynn's best pal and a traveling SQL standard salesman.
😎
You were supposed to let that play out. Let jc worry that he was the JC you were talking about.
Not that's not very nice. If it had hung out there I would have had to DM Eirukur to find out what I did because I couldn't remember anything.
Every time I see JC I have to think twice. Mr. C would probably be better.
For you, well you just get to be little jc or Jack. :-D:-D
You have to admit, if you would have dm'd him then the joke would have played out well.:hehe:;-)

Sadly I will not. I need to find a way to get to one though. It is a large chunk of change for me to have to fork over, I know my company won't shell out that kind of money for me to go.
I do miss Seattle though. I lived there from 91 - 96. I found the website for them. http://www.bethscafe.com/[/url] I had no idea they had gained so much fame outside of Seattle. It is a small greasy spoon with awesome breakfast food.
I assume that Summit will be in Bellevue or Redmond. That makes for a length bus trip. Depending on how you hit the timing it could be an hour or more. By cab it is still about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic over the bridge.

Summit is at the Seattle Convention Center downtown.

Summit is at the Seattle Convention Center downtown.
Well from downtown it would be a short cab ride or even a single bus trip (no transfers). Make sure you visit Pike Place Market since that isn't far at all.

That's where volunteerism pays off. Volunteer at your local PASS Chapter (start one if you don't have one nearby) or for the Summit Program Committee and you have a good opportunity to get a decent discount on registration. Then get someone to split a room with you and it really isn't that expensive. I attended last year's Summit on my own dime and it cost me like $600 because of being a PASS volunteer & finding someone to bunk with. I also don't drink so that saves me a ton of money as well.

Winner Winner on that one.
There are some that will probably double their cost due to the amount they will drink during the week.

I would highly recommend going with them though. Nearly every microbrewery in the NW makes their own root beer and most bars have at least one of them on tap. They are awesome!!! Of course I like to get my beer on too but the root beers are something pretty special. 😀
I will see about helping out with the local PASS chapter. I do a lot of other volunteer work already so it might be tough to squeeze in extra.

Then again, it looks like his problems have hit earlier than I thought. Pretty sure what he isn't doing but I think I'll go eat instead. The DFAC is only open for another hour.
