I miss getting out on the pitch with the kids. It actually helps keep me feeling young. You should get out and play. That will really help you feel young. I imagine at this point you mostly miss seeing grass.
Grass?? What is grass?? Lots of rocks and dust around here but what is this stuff you call grass?
You're visiting Phoenix?! I didn't know!

Actually, I might be next year. Keeping an eye on SQL Server opportunities in Colorado Springs still and there isn't much there. Phoenix and Kansas City seem to be the hot spots at the moment.

Cool. Let me know if you get out here, I'll stand you a brew or three. Standing invite for roughly everyone in the thread. 😀

Actually, Denver seems to have picked up some from the last time I checked it out. Denver would still keep me close to home, if a bit North.

Thought process of last 10 minutes.- Tune a proc quick, then go home
- Wait, it's got user defined functions
- Wait, the UDFs have cursors
- I'm going home!
:hehe:
The cursors in the UDFs call more UDFs with more cursors?
Fortunately no, they're just doing string concatenation the hard way.
Ouch...

Yup, that's pretty much how I feel.
I have little interest in sport. Most of the time that's fine. This week, I can't even go to my favourite coffee shop without feeling like I'm at the stadium (TV turned up very loud)

Those things are banned in most public places, most shopping centres and most shops.

+1. A lot of people sure do like it, though. I played soccer when I was 10 (before soccer was fashionable in the US), but I don't understand the mania that goes along with it nowadays.
