I don't have too much beef with the language, but the way the fans talk about it, you'd think it was about to end poverty and bring about world peace. That's just crazy talk. Everyone knows that Git is going to end poverty, bring about world peace and make coffee in the morning.
Ah, I have Git and no coffee made.

Great. Just read that and now I have an urge to go git some coffee.

I don't need a language for that. I usually want coffee. 😀

I feel the poor guy's pain. Thank you for the laugh. The only sad part is that's it's so very true.

When Marketing meets with Engineering, nothing is impossible. 😀
Reminds me of a meeting where the business wanted something built, but when you started asking some questions, it was clear they had no idea what they wanted or needed.
But finish it by Friday.
A data dump and a couple weeks passed, and they came back to us.
What evolved was predicting inventory $ and Qty on Hand for the end of the month.
Almost half the items showed no demand in MRP, so the first thing was determining what they needed to see for these items.
When we were done, they only used a fraction of what they had us build.

That's OK as long as there is sufficient padding in the budget.

Budget? That would indicate some form of planning or forethought. That doesn't happen either. They just want everything right now.
