Now see, we're still stuck because I thought that translated out as "Time for a beer."

Why not? I've seen one question in French. Not easy to answer.
You can forward those to me, it's my native language.

Nicest beer this week was Blue Moon wheat beer from Denver, CO, purchased from Sainsbury's, Reading, UK.

My sister-in-law is crazy about that stuff. Can't stand beer myself, more of a whisky/scotch kind of guy.

Nothing wrong with both beer and a good scotch. Preferably some incredibly hoppy IPA or ESB and some Scapa.... mmmm... Oh, look at the time. The sun just went below the yard-arm somewhere on the planet.

A LAMBIC!!!!!
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, GO PUTTIN' FRUIT INTO MY GOL DURNED BEER.
Belgians... They get a couple of things right (double, triple, & saison (very right)) and then go & screw it all up with Lambic's.

I tried this stuff once. The bottle was very promising, just like a champagne bottle. The product inside it was sour enough to take the hair off your cheeks - from the inside. Doesn't travel well, I thought then, but apparently it's meant to be like this

So true, why mess with perfection? A very nice German wheat beer would do nicely! 😉
