Last day of freedom. Starting dev job tomorrow. Hopefully will go well...I'm unlikely to be around much during the week from now on (at least for a while), so could someone else please watch for and field corruption-related questions?
Heh.... don't forget to study for the urine test. π
Wrong country, I'm not in the USA π
It's not a federal mandate or anything, but everyone I've ever worked for does drug testing.
Really? I only had that happen once, 20 years ago and the testing facility lost my sample. So very reliable these companies are.
No drug testing for my last few jobs (2 FTE and 3 contract). When I was on the IT staff at a manufacturing company I was drug tested as part of the process and there were random drug tests after employment as well. The random drug testing was part of the safety program since the machinery could kill you pretty easily. I was only tested once over 7-8 years I think.

I challenge any of you who do presentations, just for giggles, to switch your font to something goofy (at least for a couple minutes at the start.)
Maybe Broadway or Comic Sans (shudder)
:hehe:

So, here's a goofy question:What font and size do you have your SSMS text set to?
I'm trying to come up with one that I like for both readability and how much can fit on-screen at once.
I tried Times New Roman at 8point, couldn't read it (20yrs ago, probably, now...)
I just set SSMS to use Terminal at 9point, which might be the happy medium in terms of size and readability for me...
I thought about using WingDings, but I don't need to obfuscate my code like that...
Although it'd be fun to have someone looking over my shoulder and wondering what the heck I'm doing...
:hehe:
I'm another one who's using the default. I know it sounds trivial, but the fixed-width font lines up nicely and helps me keep things organized.

Am I the only one that can't change the font on SSMS to Wingdings or something similar?

No, I can't either.

It's not really annoying as long as you have a notepad open.
The dropdown list on SSMS won't show Wingdings or any other symbol's font
