Not a Broncos fan. But I am hoping to see that offense score big every week. 700pts in a season seems doable for them.
I doubt they can go 40 a week, but I think 35 is a good number to aim for. I think they ought to be able to get close to the 07 NE record of 589.
I think they will get the record. It would be cool to see 700. But I am skeptical about it.
I don't think Fox will keep his foot on the pedal like Belichick did. So they will have to be in games that remain close to keep that up.

Please. For purposes of employment, some of us cannot comment on politics because no matter what side I argue for, I'll yack off a customer or six. Can we keep that stuff to a minimum on The Thread please? I'm already actively unfollowing people on twitter.I try to avoid that here, I shall make a stronger effort after this request.
So how 'bout them Broncos!
A century's worth of points in 2 weeks. Give up 500 in the air and win. They are rather dangerous this year.
While in Minnesota, we are thankful for a last second missed horse collar penalty allowing a win, and a bye week so we couldn't lose.
And yet another quarterback into the mix, just to stir things up a bit more.
500 passing yards? I think we might be able to top that, but that Win thing has me shaking my head.
I'm just glad the Packers started winning again. The Vikings added another QB? I missed that.
Bah.
They couldn't have gone easy on the poor Lions? After all, no Megatron kind of limited the Lions. Although they might've had better luck if Stafford faked handoffs to Bush, then ran like h*ll with the ball...
They did go easy on the Lions. They got 5 FGs instead of 5 TDs.

All hail the great and powerful Gail!
With a couple suggestions, she put me on the right track to find what was breaking an update stats maintenance plan!
Which I was then able to pawn off the fix onto the Dev responsible for that particular DB...
:hehe:
Seriously, thanks Gail.

I was thinking that could at least partially be credited to the Lions defense for keeping them from getting those TDs...

I've often suspected that my secret superhero power is deflecting work assignments to other groups in my area. My go-to tactic: "Well, that is *possible*, but it would be extremely inefficient/resource-intensive to do it in the database." Luckily, our front-end developers are both rational and good-natured, so they don't get too aggravated when I turn to them, smile sweetly, and say, "Y'all could do that *real* easy in C#, couldn't you?"

Yup, I've seen that at every company I've worked for. An FTE can be saying something for 2 years and nothing happens, but when a high-priced consultant comes in and says the same thing it gets done.
Ha Ha That's exactly how SSRS became the corporate reporting tool. I was going on for ages about it being easier and cheaper than Crystal Reports and wrote comparison papers and everything but it was like banging my head against a brick wall. Then the suppliers of the main business system recommended it when we moved that from Oracle to SQL Server. Now it's embedded and we are rid of Crystal and have a team of SQL Report writers trained up from the business. And we've dumped that business system because of a merger. How things change!

Hey Steve
There's a formatting error in my article today that causes all the code to be outside code boxes. Should I fix this and re-submit or is this something you would change?

Bah. You didn't really want people to read your article anyway, did you? Because then they might comment, and if they comment, you'd have to answer, and then there would be much tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth and chaos would ensue...

Oh, you don't want him to do that, those nice shaded rectangular blocks are pretty. Putting text in them would spoil the appearance.

Well, time to polish the resume and start looking for work. Just given a 1 month notice.
They want to keep me on a retainer for 5 hours a week, so that might be a nice side income, as long as I find another full time job soon.
Hate looking this time of year.
