There's a question, it's just not obvious. The guy abviously has troubles with the english written language. Nothing to be made fun of guys!!!!!!1
Actually, there is... it's people like that who will come to my country and actually expect a job and, quite possibly, get my job just because of equal opportunity incentives. Don't get me started on folks having troubles with the English language. It's bad enough that we now have two national languages just due to immigration.

We've had 2 official languages in Québec for decades and it works great. It's been a life saver for me (literally).
I'm here to help, I don't care all that much about the format. I'm free to do as I please and I won't stop helping here because the question is not perfectly formulated to my needs.

I realize that the internet is international so I don't care how good the posters English skills are, all I ask is that you ask a question in your post, then answer any questions someone who is trying to help you asks. In the post I linked to the OP did neither. If the OP has really asked a question that I can decipher at all I will research and give an answer.

I’m not from an English speaking country. I also wasn’t raised in an English speaking family (My parents knew English, but they spoke with us and among them in Hebrew). Writing and reading in English doesn’t come natural to me. I’m sure that I have some mistakes in both grammar and spelling, but I do my best to fix it. This means that most of the time I’ll write my answer in word. Then I’ll activate the spell checker. Sometimes my spelling is so bad, that the speller shows me that it is wrong spelling but it doesn’t know to suggest me a different spelling because it has no idea what I meant to write. In cases like this, I have to use a dictionary. I’m not blaming anyone that has English problems, and I don’t demand that anyone will do 100 percent effort to make his question clearer, but some effort is necessary. When I saw the question (“as above”), I had no idea what he meant. All he had to do is invest about 5 minutes in writing something small and simple, so the question will be understandable. After all, if he has enough knowledge to read the answer in English, I’m sure he could write something better then – “as above”.

Only 2? Be grateful, I've got 11. Only two of those are due to immigration (and both a long time ago)

You know both internet and SQL Server are international? On forums like these people visit from all over world. Of course you can try to find your answer on a forum in your native language, but it's just that the best are in english. I happen to be not native english also, but I had the luck to be pretty good educated. And I guess that's not the case with everybody in this world. Over here (The Netherlands) we have 2 national languages also: english and dutch. Due to IT and american tourists.

Believe me, I am grateful I only have to know 1 language being an American. I actually admire anyone who can speak more than 1 language and I try to be patient with someone on the forum who struggles with English because I know that is isn't their first language.
While I think Americans should speak English, I also think we, as a country, need to do more to encourage/require people to be semi-fluent in at least one other language.
I know most Europeans speak at least 2 languages, and part of that is because what we drive in the US to get out of most states, takes you into another country in Europe, so you there is a greater need to speak multiple languages. I mean I can drive west 3000 miles and always be in an English speaking country. How many languages would you pass through in Europe in 3000 miles?

Heh... due to WWII, we only had one, until now... as the sign says... "If you're reading this, thank a teacher... if you're reading this in English, thank a soldier". We were pretty proud of not being invaded... too bad folks weren't watching for the great silent invasion that has occurred. I really don't like what's happening to the country I fought for and nearly died for.

Exactly... let's think about why that is and what I just said. 😉
The reason we've been able to do so many fascinating things successfully is because we all spoke the same language. Sure, we have groups of people that speak some other language, but everyone knew a common language here... that's no longer going to be the case... 1 "Tower of Babble" coming up...

I always have trouble finding stuff initially online, but nothing is ever written about SQL or .NET in Redneck. I have been talking with Adam Machanic lately by email, and 90% of the time we are saying the exact same thing, but he actually uses the proper terminology and I use my Redneck hack job phrases and statements which he doesn't follow what I am saying completely.
Anyone got a good method of interpreting for me?

Well, I know a little Redneck (I have a mentor in Florida, in NH now so not getting any lessons), and I know a little SQL Server technical terminology, so I may be able to help out a little.

Yeah, but what is really sad is that you have a better grasp of the English language than a large majority of people living in America today do, at least in my opinion from talking with you at PASS.
