This week is the first SQL in the City of 2013. Anyone coming? In Denver, I take it?
No. Can't travel that far on this short notice. Plus other travel plans this summer.
Nope. London. Should be fun.

I will explain...No, to explain will take too long. I will sum up.
The Doctor is on first.
The enemy's gate is down.
You'll have to sum up with the Inigo Montoya t-shirt
I still need to watch that movie start to end some day. Bought it just for that purpose.
How can you not have seen that movie start to end? Wait - do you have six fingers!?
Or maybe he's just a Scicilian trying to beat you in a game of wits?
You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...
I spent the last few years building up an immunity to iocane powder.
Just a few more posts and Jason won't need to watch the movie after all!
As you wish!
Why spend 1-1/2 to 2 hours watching a movie when you can do it this way?
Read the book first. The book was wonderful. I was so excited to hear there was a movie version coming out and the movie version didn't ruin the book!
there's a book too?

***************************************************I am officially going to Afghanistan!
I leave for IRDO at Camp Atterbury in Indiana on Sunday, June 23rd. All should go well there with me leaving there on Friday, June 28th to go to theater via Kuwait. I should arrive in Afghanistan on or about July 2nd!
Please take care of the TitD and the Guard Hippo in my absence.
Depending on the reliability of the Internet connection there I will try to make visits here.
***************************************************
Take care and be safe

Be safe, Lynn. Any idea how long you'll be there?
Initially, 6 months but hoping to make it 12 months.
I wish the best for you and your fellow soliders.
Just like you - tough job, and you are already looking for more.
Yea, but I'm going as a civilian contractor for my company. I did volunteer as I want to see how our software is used in theater and help support our troops using it. It will provide added insight as I help support development when I return.
I think that would be a cool job. It'd be nice to have more companies have their employees see the software in use so they could better support it - no matter the industry.

Ok Grant and Gail (others too if you know the answer)...You guys have a "widget" on your blog that allows the display of certain icons or badges (e.g. MVP and MCM).
What is the tool? I would like to add something like that to my blog.
Giving this question one more shot...
Anybody have any recommendations for a plugin such as that?

But...
Please take care of the TitD and the Guard Hippo in my absence.
Won't it be a bit closer for you now to take care of?

Yep, the movie was made from the book and for a change, it was done very well. The movie was great, but I do love the book.

I give it 3 thumbs up.

No plug in. Standard WordPress side bar item.
There's a side bar that allows you to enter any html, couple of <br>s and an <img> tag.

Again, I didn't need a widget to do this. It's just setting up a link and including a picture or linking to a picture. Nothing special.

This week is the first SQL in the City of 2013. Anyone coming? It slipped my attention that it was in London this week and it appears I've missed the boat. I've added myself to the waiting list just in case!
Got a confirmation email, so, yes, I'll be going. Looking forward to it!
