Are the posted questions getting worse?

  • Not that I don't believe, is there anything I can do to see this? I may not have the time right now but this could be something I could look into more myself when I have more down time, like off hours while in Afghanistan.

I mean really, what else will there be to do if not working.

Okay, sounds good to me. I have few months before I go, just not sure if I can make the time before hand. Definitely give me something to do while not working or sleeping.

Well, I had a quick read, now all I need is more time to actually play with this myself and see how things work. May even do it before going to Afghanistan, but we will have to see. Definitely something to do while there though.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

Supposed to be 6 months but I'm hoping to try and extend it to 12 months (I would like the tax break for working overseas for a year).

You really sure you want to do this? Afghanistan isn't exactly the safest place on the planet. But on the other hand, it is probably the closest place to a desert where you can pitch a tent? 😀

Yes, I am sure about doing this, but I am both anxious and excited about going. It may not be the safest place but having talked to several friends and soldiers that have been there I feel safe enough going. Having an opportunity to actually be there working with our soldiers and our allies, it is the right thing to do.
