Well, that certainly is idle. So much so that I feel like you're on someone's lawn somewhere and that I should feel strongly against that.

  • IIIIIIIDDDDDLLLLLLLEEEEEEE.

It's month end. I'm waiting for the chaos to descend, which should happen approximately about the time I head out for lunch. @sigh.

In my experience, the period from just before Thanksgiving through New Year's Day isn't very productive.

  • Has anyone else heard the rumors of a 3-D Roger Rabbit being in the making?

I'm trying to track down the official news item.

I hope not. I don't love 3D movies and dread going to see them when the kids ask.

Saw Wreck-It Ralph yesterday in 2D and it was good. But I noticed during the previews that there are at least 3 kinds of 3D. Is it just branding or are there differences in results or the glasses you have to wear? I understand that IMax 3D is different at least in the way that IMax is different from a normal screen, but is there any difference there either?

Actually 4 formats. And yes, there are different types of glasses. We have a 3D blu ray, and a 3D 'ready' TV, so my wife got a 3D movie. Then asked 'why doesn't it work?'

So I explained to her we are missing both a converter and the glasses.

Hazards of a new format, where standards have not been firmed up.

You mean this story: The Movie Blog[/url]?

I guess there's been improvement in the post-production 3D, but doing it *well* costs quite a bit. I've generally just gone to the 2D showings of movies, mostly to save the $$$...

  • OK, is it just me, or do I manage to kill topics by posting in them?

I posted the last response in one of the Editorials, almost the last response to the guy who was trying to load a license key into the eval edition (although there wasn't too much left to post after that)...

    Or am I being paranoid?

(as this is the last entry in this topic... :Whistling:)

That's the one. I need it for reference because, well... I'm working on this.

    Happy, happy, joy, joy!
