So *YOU'RE* the reason the wifi packed it up after the first 15 minutes!
All joking aside, I did enjoy the SQL in the City event (disclaimer: I don't work for RedGate, Steve Jones didn't slip me a $50, $20, $10, $5, or $1) and picked up some tips. My only regret was that I didn't suggest to management that they also send a programmer along with me to it. There was certainly information that could be applied by the lowliest accidental DBA to the highest of MCMs.
OK, I do sound like I'm shilling for Redgate now. Maybe it's time to get dinner, I might be getting light-headed from lack of food...

Garlic is good, but Jalapenos are a bit mild and boring; Scotch bonnet chilis (but not too many!) are nicer; also, some fresh ginger (finely chopped with mashed cauliflour, very thin slices steamed with the cauliflower if no mashing) goes well with the garlic and chili.

If you like heat try this Cannon's Sweet Hots make some really good chili products. I tend to order a case of green chilis and put it in stews and chili. Sometimes over chicken breasts or as part of a steak marinade.

Cauliflower, broccoli and brussels sprouts are all much better if they've been marinated in a good, hearty stout. Better yet, 4 or 5.
Wait a minute! Maybe it was me that was marinated? ๐
My thought question: Have you ever been told that your query runs too fast?
My advice:
INDEXing a poor-performing query is like putting sugar on cat food. Yeah, it probably tastes better but are you sure you want to eat it?
The path of least resistance can be a slippery slope. Take care that fixing your fixes of fixes doesn't snowball and end up costing you more than fixing the root cause would have in the first place.

I haven't gotten too many of these, but every once in awhile someone thinks I'm not serious enough.
I use the 5% rule. Toss the top 5% of complaints and of praise. Look for everything in between on evals.
