There was a typo on line 5 of the code. I had to correct it in order to get it to run. That means I should get my points back.

Almost, but in certain specific situations when the cache manager is roflflexing and the transaction manager over subscribed and the events unhandled the behaviour is completely the opposite.
People really shouldn't submit questions without doing their research!

I've read the stuff in the YTD thread, and I'm appalled at the ignorance he displays. He really doesn't know what he's talking about there, and I felt obliged to point that out.
You see, I don't have your degree of forbearance, or saintly ability to suffer arrogant fools silently.

I was worried the pet mouse might have died from suffocation. It is awfully hard to breath beneath a sweater vest. ๐

Actually, my bloody tongue has nothing to do with my saintly stature. I was asked by Steve to avoid further confrontage with Mr. Celko and a few others thought a few of my responses after that a bit unprofessional. So, with that I am trying to respect the wishes of others. Plus it helps keep my halo from tarnishing too much.

I'm so glad I don't have one of those halos to worry about. Could you imagine how much lime-away I'd need after just one day of wearing it?
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.

Quick poll: how would you pronounce the word "Route"?I'll explain why later, if I'm not too embarrassed.
Steve.
"Root" is the proper pronunciation as Nat King Cole taught us in the classic song "(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66"
Oh thankyou, thankyou! I can use this example in the office.
FWIW, slang "rooted" in Oz apart from it's, er, intimate connotations, can also mean "broken" or "busted".
Thanks for all the responses. My reason for asking is still a bit political right now, but I'll keep you informed.
Steve.

Actually, the noun is pronounced "root" (as the Mr. Cole was doing) and the verp is pronounced "rout" (rhymes with "doubt"). At least it is by everyone I speak with, here in Ameriker. ๐

Quite true. For some reason I was only thinking of highways, perhaps because of the capital letter.
