Woohoo!!! Vacation starts in about 7 minutes. Meeting my wife's parents, her brother and another close family friend for a long weekend in Chicago. 16 people in all. If you live in the Chicago and see a large group of people that appear to be a dysfunctional family, it is likely us. See you all late next week.

/Sigh
My next vacation doesn't start for 291 days, 23 hours, 22 minutes, and 55 seconds...

Enjoy yourself. Try to avoid getting mugged by a 30s gangster selling moonshine.
Nice city, summer's when to visit though. Never winter. Gods, never winter.
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.

I found it pleasant this last December when visiting.
I also saw plenty of dysfunctional large groups;-)

I'm sure I can easily get quite a bit more verbose than a phone book. Hyperloquacity is one of my specialities. Along with paragraphs that are WAY too long, composed of sentences that are complex, generally because of multiple, sometimes even nested, parentheticals, often obfuscated by erudition, frequently taken to a brobdingnagian extreme, combined with a tendency towards both spleling and otter errors.
Getting more verbose that a phone-book is of course completely acceptable when it's done to annoy, particlularly when the hyperloquacity presents itself in the form of verbose pedantry carried to ridiculous extremes, and expecially when provided with a good (or great or even brobdingnagian) dash of erudition, and spieling errors too are acceptable in polite society (since after all, lengthy and extravagant speech, even when written, is much improved by the accidental inclusion of a few mistakes to amuse the audience) but otter errors (like omitting to capitalize his 'O') are completely verboten since commiting Otter errors is likely to upset the rather violent decendants of some rather violent Norse and Icelandic types and there is no remaining Andvaranaut with which to placate them, since Tolkein took over fate and had a hobbit destroy the ring by depositing it in a volcano.
