Also congratulations! First standalone work, that's awesome! Love the title and the cover and I look forward to getting it.
Thank you. I appreciate it.

Well I was... except for the part about dying at PASS. 😉
Glad you're OK, and back.

Hijacking the thread for another book announcement. You can read the details on the top post of my Google+ stream here: Legend of the Beemen
That'll teach me to read the thread while working. I am putting together an SSIS package to move data from a ton of Oracle tables to SQL Server tables and I'm picking the tables from the dropdown list. I read your post and went back to picking the next table and was frustrated for a moment that I couldn't find the table "LEGEND_OF_THE_BEEMEN".

The Dixie Flatline (4/23/2012)
I'm sure I'm not the only one who was really intrigued until I realized the title wasn't Legend of the Beermen. (Sorry, Brandie)I actually tried that, Dixie, as part of my Simpsons media tie-in work, but those crazy folks at Fox had issues with the way I portrayed DuffMan in the smuggling ring scene. So, sorry, no Legend of the Beermen today.
Amusing that there's a mention of the Simpsons here since one of the things I always think of when I think about bees is the Simpsons and the scene with Homer saying "Or What? You'll Release the Dogs? or the Bees? or the Dogs with Bees in Their Mouths so When They Bark They Shoot Bees at You?"

I used to do that. What I found it is that I usually can't change those people that frustrate me, so I just avoid them. It'll cause your post count to go down because you're not wasting your breath in posts that won't be heeded, but you'll sleep a whole lot better at night. 😀 You'll also magically find the time to help a whole lot of people that actually deserve the help. :w00t: I actually learned which people to avoid by watching the ones you got frustrated with. :hehe: They're pretty easy to spot now. Thanks.
sage advice.
Walk away, or vent here. One or two posts to try and get more info, but don't complain if they don't follow your advice. Then it isn't really helping the discussion.

Editing that post down that way, it makes for an interesting visual. "Dixie Flatline ... dying at PASS".
Glad it wasn't fully literal, and not just because posting to The Thread from the afterlife would be a little weird. (Glad you don't need to do so, in other words.)

I like the juxtaposition of "I can't give any condition" with "should loop until there's a value"
I can't give any condition except this condition. Shame that the best solution for what I think the op is asking is either SSIS or a CLR, because there's no way they're ready to try either.

Personally, I don't think this person should be let any where near a database.

It always bothers me when I see things like no caps, no punctuation in a post, because to me it implies that the person doesn't take the time to pay attention to details when they're creating something. It also bothers me when I see things like "nee dhelp." because it implies they aren't willing to check and go back to correct mistakes. It further bothers me when the grammar is terrible or they post with "text-speak" like "u" for "you" or they don't post coherent sentences, because it implies they don't care about the quality of their work or how they appear to others.
I know sometimes, perhaps even frequently, English isn't the op's first language, but the combination of all three of the flaws I mentioned frequently accompany poorly described problems and a reluctance to give further details. There are plenty of people who have poor English skills that manage to avoid these errors and by and large they tend to be the ones who benefit from the advice given here.

Just ignore him. He will go bother somebody at some other site once he realizes nobody will respond anymore. He is clearly too dumb to walk and breath at the same time.
