If any would-be employee claims to be a Threadzian, we have two questions that we can now ask them during the interview.1) What does sp_kleenex do and when would you use it?
2) How many parameters does DBCC Timewarp really have?
If they don't have an answer for either, they get booted out of the building...

Isn't the answer to #2 just "I'll tell you yesterday"?

Speaking of DBCC TimeWarp... I watched Grant use it Sat at SQLSat111 during lunch demo. I don't think any other attendees really knew what was really happening though...

I want video proof of anyone who uses it at a SQL Saturday, Rally, or PASS event. I want to see what happens. I'll buy Drink of Choice to the first 3 people who provide such proof to me the next time I see them.

You already had proof. However you invoked it again and now you are ahead of the rest of us again. Sorry no proof anymore. If you can just DBCC TimeWarp -3 you should have your proof in your inbox again...assuming PM's are now working for you again.

Or have ever worked for you or ever will work for you. This is DBCC TimeWarp, after all.

And then there are those that you think should be able to understand what you are telling them only to have that believe shot out from under you.

Some days, this helps:Or this (my drink of choice tonight)
The image does not display in my IE9. Or was ite meant to be a Zen koan?
displays fine in my Firefox 11 (32 bit XP Pro). It looks like an empty tequila bottle with a very poor quality cork, but I'm not a tequila man so maybe cork standards are different.
It's not empty. You can see the level right above the "TEQUILA 100% DE AGAVE" hexagon.

With "the one", do you think it time to tell him the following?
1. Get out a blank piece of paper.
2. Put your name and today's date at the top.
3. At the bottom, sign your name.
4. In between the lines written above write, I Quit.
5. Give this to your boss.

To be honest, I think anyone involved in that one should walk away. Problem is, once we do, what if he suddenly has an ephany and actually posts useful and vital information that could actually help us help him?

Although his grammar is unintentionally hilarious at points, creating other words in English when the end of one gets tacked onto the start of another. example: "It snot my database" <-- I HATE when that happens, takes forever to run sp_kleenex
maby if you typed "IQ uit
